Type ERS est un joint de tige formé de deux pièces agissant ensemble, constitué d’un élément d’étanchéité intégral en une structure de coton renforcée et du caoutchouc nitrile vulcanisés ensemble, et une bague d’appui en thermoplastique.

Matériel minier, systèmes hydrauliques mobiles, presses et cylindres standard.

Type ERS est monté dans les gorges ouvertes. Il est très important que les outils de montage soient composés de matériaux doux et n’ayant aucun bord tranchant. Avant l’installation, le joint doit être huilé avec l’huile du système.
